How does this work?

New York Care Collective is a free community and volunteer run therapist matching service. You answer a a set of questions, such as what you'd like to talk about and your insurance, and we send you a list of therapists that we think might be a good match for you to reach out to.
This is not a mental health crisis or emergency service. If you're in crisis, call the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Who are we?

We're all volunteers here in NYC. We're from different walks of life, but among us include former call-takers on the National 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and current counselors in the city.
